School Policies

The following are policies that govern the administration of any and all courses offered by Florida Insurance Education.  Please read the syllabus, provided within your course, for additional policies and details.

TuitionTuition is due in full prior to the beginning of any course. Tuition is subject to change without notification. Please see our Refund Policy below.

Discounts or Coupons: Discounts must be arranged in advance of course registration. Coupons must be entered online during the checkout process.  No retroactive discounts can be provided.

Refund Policy: No refunds will be made once the student engages in the course notes, quizzes, and/or final exam. All qualifying requests for a refund must be emailed to Florida.Insurance.Education@gmail.com within three days of the enrollment date and are subject to a non-refundable processing fee of $50. If you’re experiencing any issues while enrolled in a course, please contact us right away so we can help you!

Copyright Laws: The materials provided to you within the courses belong to Florida Insurance Education and are protected by and fall within the U.S. Copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of copyrighted materials is a criminal offense. In addition to financial restitution to the copyright holder, those breaking copyright infringement laws, including infringement without monetary gain, face punishment of up to five years in prison and fines of $250,000.

No Show: A student who fails to login for an online course will be considered a "No Show" and will forfeit tuition.  Computer difficulties are not the responsibility of the school.  Again, if you're experiencing any issues while enrolled in a course, please contact us right away so we can help you!

Corporate/Collegiate/Group Discounts: We’d be happy to work with you and provide a discount for large groups.  If interested, please send us an email or give us a call.  No retroactive discounts can be provided.

Course Cancellation: Generally, the school does not cancel a course, but if we must, any registered student will be offered the ability to either move to another course offering date or be given a refund of tuition.  All refunds must be in the same manner as the original payment.  If payment was by credit card then the refund must be to the same credit card account as the original payment.  Even if the school refunds tuition due to course cancellation, we do not give refunds for books, flashcards, and materials.

Books and Materials: The most current edition of the state manual is required for all licensing courses.  PLEASE NOTE: Books, Workbooks, flashcards, and materials cannot be returned for a refund, even if there is a course cancellation.

Repeating Continuing Education Courses: Students may not receive credit for repeating a continuing education course within a 24-month period, per Florida Statutes.  The school makes every effort to constantly update courses to try and keep this from happening.  However, the school is not responsible for any student repeating a course within that 24-month period.  All students must keep track of the courses they have taken and when they were taken.  Student transcripts, containing all courses taken, can be viewed in each student's records by going to "My Profile" on the Department of Financial Services website.

Disruptive Students:  Instructors have the right to unenroll students from the course who are disruptive or acting in a way which might be harmful to the instructor or another student and the student will forfeit tuition for the course and their right to attend future courses.

Academic Honesty: The Florida Statutes clearly state that the Final Exam must be completed unassisted by any person, the course material, or any other material.  Failure to comply will result in an automatic F in the course and will be reported to the Florida Department of Financial Services.  The student will forfeit tuition for the course and their right to attend future courses.
